Josephine Malcorps - About Me

ABOUT

Josephine Malcorps is a multi disciplinary fashion designer with her roots in Norway and The Netherlands. Being raised in both countries made her curious about what it is to feel totally at home which lead to the love for the concept of escapism.

Technical design, pattern drafting, tailoring and 3D design create the fundaments in the skill set of Josephine Malcorps. Interested in sustainability and craftsmanship as well as being curious to new experiences and challenges within this industry. Design with clashes of contrasting materials or contexts are the most interesting to her. Modernism meets romanticism/folklore-wear is a personal combination that runs deep in her interest but the outcome will be different every time.

VISION/MISSION

Fashion is a part on the art-spectrum which can present itself in multiple ways. But for her the essence lays in portraying a story/mission in a visual way by creating collections out of sustainable materials. Creating outstanding high quality and eye-pleasing designs, it should be every designers mission to create with an eye to the future. A product that will be loved, taken care of and will last with neutral or positive effects to our earth.
