longing for how it once was are thoughts that we all experience and add to the story Josephine Malcorps is telling with this collection. The melancholia of today drives us to a longing for nostalgia of the past.

Fear of the present and future triggers the nostalgia of the past. When we're melancholic we feel uneasy with the way things are. We yearn for a deeper, richer relationship with the world.
